An SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, ensuring they reach their destination efficiently, safely, and seamlessly.

• Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise, answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each interaction is positive.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be present at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
• Possess and carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report known accidents, violations of policy, safety hazards, or other unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc., to the garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of the garage, surrounding streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items when applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than high school education, one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
• License Requirement:
  Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement per DOT regulations.
• DOT Medical Card:
  Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work:
  Flexibility for 3rd shift and/or weekends as required.

  Skills:
  
  Ability to read, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Add, subtract two‑digit numbers, multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, and use American money units.
• Appearance:
  Maintain a neat, clean appearance and uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands:
  Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment regularly; occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Salary Range: $21.10 – $22.30 per hour
