Warehouse Team Member II

The Warehouse Team Member II provides a well‑stocked and organized warehouse and assists Route Service Managers. The role requires delivering batteries on a regular basis and supporting warehouse operations.

• Load and unload batteries
• Restock batteries
• Charge, clean, date, and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed
• Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, checks, and money orders
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse
• Follow and fulfill all driver program requirements, as specified by the manager
• Perform other duties as requested

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
• Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and distribution methods
• Knowledge of state, federal, and interstate commerce regulations
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems
• Understanding of hazardous shipping laws and requirements
• Ability to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift
• Must have a clean driver’s record and meet driver qualifications requirements

• Frequent independent judgment and decision making
• Backup driver
• Operate with integrity and demonstrate a positive attitude

• Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs without assistance and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals
• Exposed to the hazards of the road when operating or riding in a vehicle
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
