Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver (Local Delivery)

We are seeking a Shuttle Driver to primarily support operations in the evening. This role’s primary responsibility is transporting product between our Des Moines Headquarters to our other branches in the midwest. This is a home daily position. This position plays an important role in keeping product moving efficiently between facilities to support distribution needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and flexible.

We are looking for someone who can also assist with branch-to-branch shuttles and provide coverage where needed.

Pay:

$25 - $28 per hour Dependent on Experience

Hours:

Start time between 5 PM and 8 PM
Days working:
Monday - Friday

What we look for:

Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
Access to reliable and punctual transportation
Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
Must be able to read and write English
Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
Must be comfortable driving tractor trailers

What you’ll do:

SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions.
Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
