Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Truck Drivers in Des Moines, IA for a temp-to-hire opportunity! Candidates will be setting up mobile offices, will not do much driving until hired by client. Schedule is Monday-Friday. Pay rate is $28-$32 per hour DOE.

Start time varies depending on the curfew for wide loads. Some drivers start at 5:30-6 am so they can get their delivers made and back early afternoon. Other drivers like to wait until curfew is over and start their route at 8 or 9 am. Routes are general 8 hours a day.

Driver will be delivering mobile offices to construction sites, and any other companies looking for extra space, single modular units that will need to be set up (set on blocks, furniture set up inside), Cold storage containers and reefer trailers.

Driver will be crossed trained on all units, training will be in Omaha and KC two weeks at each location. Driver will be gone for a week to train and come back on Friday. Head back out on Monday for additional training. Hotel, food and fuel will be paid for by client.

Qualifications:

-Valid CDL Class A Driver's license.

-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A driving experience.

-Clean MVR.

-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
