This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Des Moines, IA. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight to and from customer locations and distribution centers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following scheduled routes, loading and unloading freight as needed, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork. The role requires adherence to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and best practices for secure cargo handling.

The Truck Driver will also communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and professional service.

• Valid CDL Class A license and proven Truck Driving experience.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and safe operation of commercial Truck equipment.
• Ability to perform basic loading and Unloading tasks while following safety procedures.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Strong time management, reliability, and attention to detail in completing logs and paperwork.
• Ability to lift and move freight as required and sit for extended periods while driving.
• Effective communication skills and professional interaction with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Previous experience in regional or local freight transport in the Des Moines, IA area is a plus.
