Job Description
Join our warehouse team as an Order Picker
, where you will play a key role in fulfilling customer orders in a fast‑paced distribution environment. This position requires using voice‑directed technology to accurately pick products while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Use a voice‑directed headset system that provides picking instructions in English
. - Listen to instructions through the headset that tell you what items to select and where to go.
- Respond verbally in English through the headset to confirm picks.
- Accurately pick, handle, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Lift, carry, and stack products weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.
- Remain on your feet for the entire shift
, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. - Maintain a steady pace in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
- Ability to understand spoken English and speak clearly in English
. - Ability to lift 50 lbs+ consistently
. - Comfortable being on your feet for the full shift.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to accuracy and productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Experience using voice‑pick or headset systems is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a warehouse setting where employees are active throughout the shift. The job requires frequent walking, lifting, and standing. Safety equipment may be required, and all employees are expected to follow warehouse safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive workplace.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.20/hr.
