Shipping and Receiving Lead

As a Shipping and Receiving Lead, you will be responsible for unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places. You will locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment, identify damages, and report shortages or quality deficiencies. This role requires the use of an RF scanner, inventory systems, and involves significant computer work.

Operating a sit‑down forklift and overhead crane may be required occasionally.

• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Utilize RF scanner and inventory systems.
• Operate sit‑down forklift and overhead crane as needed.

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Strong computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Experience with logistics and freight management.

• Experience in customer service and production.
• Ability to handle material and manage warehouse inventory.
• Experience with shipping and freight management software.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $28.58 - $28.58/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Des Moines, IA.
