General Warehouse

Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a dedicated General Warehouse associate to join their team. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be an essential part of the operations supporting the efficient movement and handling of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Title: General Warehouse

Location: Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $20

Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as electric pallet jacks, to move palletized materials efficiently and safely.

• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in handling shipments.

• Assist with organizing warehouse inventory and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report issues.

• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment, including electric pallet jacks.

• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.

• Good reading, writing, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with warehouse or distribution environments is preferred.

• Willingness to work in a team-oriented setting and follow safety guidelines.
