Shipping/Receiving Clerk Job Description

The Shipping/Receiving Clerks responsibilities include handling both initial shipping and any online returns or replacements. They will be expected to handle the smallest details associated with preparing shipments, with the highest degree of accuracy. They will be responsible for receiving in daily shipments and putting away stock. He or she will also cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
• Accurately label, organize, and stock inventory
• Pick, pack, and ship outgoing orders
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
• Work with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills (inventory systems a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred (but not required)

• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• High level of organization
• Very high attention to detail
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address issues in a timely manner
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• High school degree or higher
• Must be able to work weekends

This is a full time position

Starting pay rate $16/hr
