Join a fast-paced environment in Des Moines, IA working inside semi-trucks to efficiently stack and organize boxes. This role offers the opportunity to develop forklift skills while supporting distribution operations in a dynamic setting, making it an excellent fit for candidates seeking hands‑on experience in logistics.
Forklift Responsibilities- Stack boxes 4-6 high inside semi-trucks, standing for up to a full 8-hour shift and reaching above head
- Push or pull boxes to designated areas
- Drive a forklift to move and organize inventory as needed
- Assist in other areas such as order picking, packaging trading cards, collectibles, and toys when required
- Load trucks in a cold environment to meet daily distribution targets
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Capable of standing for the entire 8-hour shift, with overtime as necessary
- Repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching above head
- Ability to operate a forklift proficiently
- Physical stamina to work in cold temperatures and maintain production pace
