Summary
Pricing Specialists accurately maintain and monitor supplier pricing calendars, including inputting and adjusting pricing structures based on management and supplier agreements.
Locations: Kent, Washington, United States;
Wilsonville, Oregon, United States.
Job Title: Pricing Specialist
Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (days/hours vary)
Primary Responsibilities- Gather, organize, and prepare data entries for costing and selling price to the trade, including research of cost discrepancies and analysis of cost components.
- Communicate and deliver approved pricing to respective departments for pricing submittal to retail and graphics for price catalogs.
- Track Freight on Board (FOB), front‑line and post‑off pricing changes; notify purchasers, chain, and sales departments.
- Maintain and create new product files including paperwork preparation.
- Review invoice pricing variances and month‑end depletion bill backs to suppliers.
- Work with Pricing Analyst to find unprofitable products/programs and recommend solutions.
- Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team‑oriented relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills for managing pricing data.
- Basic math skills.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- VIP and Cognos experience.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
Work indoors in a sedentary office setting.
Physical DemandsLift/carry up to 20 lbs.; sitting for entire shift.
TravelLocal travel only.
Required Education And Experience- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of pricing and/or accounting experience.
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
