About the Role:
As a Catering Coordinator
, you will work directly with clients planning events and meetings creating an enjoyable and memorable guest experience from start to finish ensuring a positive lasting impression. Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and the staff while focusing on the client's expectations.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the city market, a proven track record of growing revenue, profit and market share and a dynamic, analytical background.

Travel Discounts

- Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat catering business through sales calls, networking, prospecting, and lead management.
- Plan and detail all event components including menus, setup, décor, timing, and logistics.
- Create proposals, contracts, and event orders; ensure accurate and timely communication with internal teams.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after events.
- Maximize banquet space and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Resolve client issues and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marriott brand standards, hotel systems, and competitor offerings.
- Use CI/TY, MARSHA, and Microsoft Office to manage accounts and reporting.
- Participate in community outreach, bridal shows, and industry events.
- Support other projects or duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of catering, food & beverage, and banquet operations.
- CI/TY and MARSHA experience strongly preferred.
- STS experience strongly preferred.
- CVENT experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, closing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
$24.00 per hour
