DescriptionCSR Marine is a full-service boatyard serving the Puget Sound region since 1977. With two locations in Ballard and Des Moines (Washington State) we provide exceptional service in fiberglass, paint, rigging, mechanical, electrical and restoration.
We are looking for an experienced Painter to start immediately at our Des Moines, WA location. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, and can work with minimal supervision. We offer medical and dental insurance, paid time off, and a simple IRA matching program. Wages are very competitive and are DOE.  Responsibilities Prepare boats for bottom paint work, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, and unbagging/tear down.

Painting using rollers, HVLP, and airless spray systems. Prepare surfaces for coating according to paint manufacturers' specifications. Paint surfaces using approved methods. Ensure proper storage of all equipment Dispose of empty paint and solvent cans according to safety standards Properly store and take appropriate precautions for paint and solvents as directed by supervisor Perform other duties as related
