Technical Accounting Manager

Salary

$120,000 – $150,000 + bonus

• Research, document, and implement accounting treatment for complex transactions under US GAAP
• Draft technical accounting memos and provide guidance to finance and operations teams
• Monitor and assess the impact of new and emerging accounting standards (FASB, SEC)
• Support preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10‑Q, 10‑K, and earnings releases
• Assist in M&A due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration of acquisitions
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and ensure SOX 404 compliance
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal on accounting and reporting issues
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits, serving as a key contact for external auditors
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes, systems, and controls

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or public accounting/public company mix preferred)
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal controls
• Proven ability to draft and present clear, well‑supported technical accounting positions
• Experience with SOX 404 compliance and implementation of new standards
• Familiarity with Workiva, JD Edwards, or One Stream a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
