About The Role

The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategic vision and execution of product initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to define product roadmaps that align with company objectives. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver innovative solutions on time and within scope.

They will be responsible for analyzing product performance metrics and customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in shaping the future of the product portfolio and ensuring its success in the marketplace. This is primarily an upstream product management position, focused heavily on new product development (NPD) and product management/readiness. This position will partner with the downstream marketing team to support its initiatives to execute on marketing and sales strategies.

Location

This position has a hybrid opportunity. You would be required to report on‑site as needed
. This position's on‑site location will be in Des Plaines, IL, as needed through the first half of 2026, after which the role will transition permanently to Northbrook, IL.

Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through the product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements to inform development priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product features meet customer needs and quality standards.
  • Monitor product performance using analytics tools and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales to develop go‑to‑market strategies and support product launches.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant business experience, of which 7+ are in Marketing (dental or medical device product marketing preferred)
  • Must be able to travel 20-30% domestically and globally
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
