Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.

• Pay Rate: $16-19/hour (based on education and experience)
• Location:
  
  Candidates should be open to working at any of the schools we partner with in the Des Plaines School District. Preferred school locations are not guaranteed.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM‑9:00 AM and 3:15 PM‑6:00 PM.

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in person (obtain within 30 days).
• Cleared tuberculosis test (obtain within 30 days).
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma / GED.

• Attend daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss progress and encourage collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum that align with program objectives.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, model positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety by monitoring environment, addressing hazards, and following protocols. Document attendance, incidents and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Team player who works well in a team environment.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Passionate about inspiring a love for learning and healthy living.
• Flexible to support additional local programs as needed.
