Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an ML Teacherat Plainfield Elementary School to cover for a leave of absence. The leave coverage will be from approximately December 14 - April 6, 2026.
Qualifications:District 62 has approximately 4,700 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.
Compensation Information:District 62 substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if the hold a substitute license. Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked. This position does not include benefits.
Selection Procedure:All applications will be reviewed and qualified applicants will be recommended for further interview consideration. After interviews are completed, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will make a recommendation to the Board of Education via the Superintendent.
