MEP Coordinator

JOBTITLE:MEPCOORDINATOR

REPORTSTO:DIRECTOROFMEP

AsanMEPCoordinator,youwillplayapivotalroleinmanagingandcoordinatingmechanical,electrical,and plumbing(MEP) systemsthroughoutthelifecycleofconstructionprojects.

Youwillworkcloselywithconstructionprojectmanagers,design teams,andtradepartners,ensuring that

MEPsystemsarefullycoordinated,meetindustrystandards,andalignwithprojectschedulesandbudgets.

Thispositionrequiresexpertisein Building Information Modeling (BIM) andproficiencywith

Autodesksoftware,suchas

Revitand

Navisworks.

Youwillberesponsibleformanaging

MEPscopes,bid processes,3

Dcoordination,installation oversight,andstart-up.

Thisrolerequiresstrongtechnicalknowledge,excellentcommunicationskills,andtheabilitytocollaboratewithdiversestakeholderstodeliverhigh-quality projects.

• Manageandoversee
  
  MEPdesigncoordinationusing
  
  Autodesktools,including
  
  Revit,Navisworks,andAutoCAD.
• Collaboratewitharchitects,engineers,andconstructionteamstoresolveclashesandensureoptimalsystemintegration.
• Developandmaintainprojectschedulesfor
  
  MEPsystems.
• Monitorprojectprogress,ensuringadherencetotimelinesandbudgets.
• Conductclashdetectionandresolutiontooptimize
  
  MEPlayouts.
• Ensureadherencetoindustrystandards,codes,andspecificationsinall
  
  MEPdesigns.
• Facilitateregularcoordinationmeetingswithinternalandexternalstakeholders.
• Providetechnicalsupportandguidancetoprojectteamson
  
  MEPandBIM-related issues.
• Prepareandmaintainaccuratemodels,drawings,andprojectdocumentation.
• Createvisualpresentationsandreportsforstakeholdersasneeded.
• Createadetailedscopesheetfor
  
  MEPsystemsthatoutlinesprojectscope,deliverables,andtraderesponsibilities.
• Compile Bid Matricesandconfirmcompletecoordinationbetweentrades
• Prepare
  
  GMPpricinganddesignbuildbudgetsasneeded
  
  Overseeandcoordinatethestart-upandcommissioningprocessincollaborationwiththethird-partycommissioningagent

• Bachelor'sdegreein
  
  Construction
  
  Management,Engineering,orarelatedfield(preferred).
• Minimumof3yearsin
  
  MEPcoordinationwithastrongfocuson
  
  BIM.
• Proventrackrecordofmanaging
  
  MEPsystemsforlarge-scaleconstructionprojects.

• Advancedproficiencyin Autodesk Revit ,Navisworks,andAutoCAD.
• KnowledgeofBIM
  360,Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) andothercollaborationtoolsisaplus.
• Strong problem-solvingandanalyticalskills.
• Excellentcommunicationandteamcollaborationskills.
• Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeettightdeadlines.
• Abletotravelwithinthe Chicagolandareaandoccasionallytoneighboringstates,withmostnightsspentathome.

The target salary for this position is $110,000. We consider many factors when determining actual hiring salary. These factors may include location, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, internal equity, and market demands.
