Our client, a leader in Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish/English Safety Coordinator to lead the development of and support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives.
The salary range for this position is $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr.
This is a 1st Shift opportunity with extensive traveling throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and assess chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
- Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent workplace incidents.
- Educate employees on safety protocols, including hazard recognition and emergency response procedures.
- Prepare and implement training programs to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
- Promote a culture of safety through open communication and reinforcement of safe work practices.
- Collect and analyze EHS data, including incident rates and environmental impact metrics.
- Utilize EHS management software and compliance tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Engage with employees at all levels to gather feedback and address safety concerns.
- Support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health Sciences, or a related field is required
. - Bilingual Spanish/English is required
. - Minimum experience of 8-10 years required
. - Willingness to travel to company facilities throughout the U.S. required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster employee engagement.
- Ability to design and deliver safety training programs.
- Analytical skills to interpret EHS data and recommend improvements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred.
