Our client, a leader in Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish/English Safety Coordinator to lead the development of and support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr.

This is a 1st Shift opportunity with extensive traveling throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and assess chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
  • Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks and prevent workplace incidents.
  • Educate employees on safety protocols, including hazard recognition and emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare and implement training programs to enhance safety awareness and compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety through open communication and reinforcement of safe work practices.
  • Collect and analyze EHS data, including incident rates and environmental impact metrics.
  • Utilize EHS management software and compliance tools for monitoring and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Engage with employees at all levels to gather feedback and address safety concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Health Sciences, or a related field is required
    .
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required
    .
  • Minimum experience of 8-10 years required
    .
  • Willingness to travel to company facilities throughout the U.S. required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster employee engagement.
  • Ability to design and deliver safety training programs.
  • Analytical skills to interpret EHS data and recommend improvements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred.
