Human Resources Partner, Employee Relations Overview

Responsibilities- Conducts complex workplace investigations on employee concerns, claims of harassment, hostile work environments, discrimination, retaliation, breach of confidentiality, etc.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provides support to department heads and employees to resolve employee relations issues.
- Provides coaching and counseling to department heads regarding employee training, corrective action/performance improvement, terminations, investigations, and employee complaints/grievances.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of HR work experience handling employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- Must obtain Sexual Harassment certification within 6 months and maintain biennially.
- Ability to travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Human Resources Professional Certification preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $70,720.00 to $95,180.80 on an annualized basis.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, depending on factors such as skillset, years of experience, education, credentials and licensure.
