• Direct the day‑to‑day activities of nursing assistants.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
• Make daily rounds on the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Complete required record‑keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.

• Valid nursing license required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with the state’s health‑care worker background‑check requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
• Ability to relate positively and favorably to residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
