American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medsurg position in Illinois with day shifts and float requirements.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital telemetry/medsurg unit
- Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
- Requires ability to float to other medical/surgical and telemetry units
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for adult patients on telemetry and medical/surgical units
- Must be willing to float as needed across similar units
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or medical/surgical nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross
- NIHSS certification required
- Completion of a Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP), which can be completed online
