Base pay range$18.50/hr - $25.00/hr
Shift OpportunitiesCurrently seeking full-time (6 AM to 2 PM), PRN (2 PM to 10 PM and 10 PM to 6 AM) shifts for CNAs to join our team.
Job SummaryProvides residents with daily nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, facility policies, and as directed by supervisory staff to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited program and the Department-approved nursing assistant competency evaluation, or military training covering Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program content.
- At least 16 years of age, with good moral character, honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Evidence of employment or occupation and residence for two years prior to employment.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Current CPR certification or certification within two weeks of employment.
- Interest or knowledge in caring for the ill, disabled, and elderly; ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
- Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
- Personable, enthusiastic, and personable.
- Mobility throughout the workday.
- Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress.
- Senses of sight and hearing, or suitable prosthetics, to meet job requirements.
- Independence, flexibility, integrity, and effective working relationships.
- Good health and emotional stability.
- Ability to work with ill, disabled, and emotionally upset individuals.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment or supplies over 50 pounds.
- Exposure to infectious waste, diseases, and conditions including HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis

- Follow nursing procedures and protocols as per policies, including dress code.
- Assist residents with daily activities as directed.
- Develop and participate in care plans.
- Participate in care conferences and family meetings.
- Report concerns to the Administrator.
- Ensure residents' safety and comfort through rounds.
- Maintain a warm and positive environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and orientation programs.
- Replenish supplies and inventory personal possessions.
- Assist with transfers and discharges.
- Record vital signs, bowel movements, and other observations.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in residents’ rooms.
- Respond promptly to call lights and requests.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Monitor residents’ health indicators and report abnormalities.
- Support residents’ self-care and rehabilitation efforts.
- Assist with end-of-life care as needed.
