Position
RN Clinical Coordinator - Operating Room
LocationNorthwest Community Hospital
HoursFull-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
Responsibilities- Provide leadership, manage resources, and ensure effective implementation of patient care policies and procedures.
- Facilitate teamwork, promote a positive work environment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Oversee daily OR operations, coordinate with surgical teams, and ensure smooth transitions of care and resource availability.
- Hire, evaluate, and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and organize staff meetings to address practice issues.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care OR setting; 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification; CNOR certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams and manage operational workflows.
- Commitment to quality improvement and staff development.
