Join our team as a Cook!
SchedulePRN (4) Shifts expected per month
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals for patients and staff following approved menu cycles and production sheets.
- Ensure all meals meet portion, taste, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
- Assist with food preparation for special dietary needs and requests.
- Collaborate with the Dietary Aides and Nutrition team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, institutional, or commercial kitchen preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food service sanitation and safety standards required.
- At least two (2) years of experience in quantity cooking and a basic knowledge of modified diets.
- Training in food service sanitation and possession of a food handler’s permit as required.
- Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Some prior kitchen supervisory experience is helpful.
This is a PRN role, and the expected compensation range for this position is $20.00 per hour.
