Join our team as a Cook!

PRN (4) Shifts expected per month

• Prepare and serve meals for patients and staff following approved menu cycles and production sheets.
• Ensure all meals meet portion, taste, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment at all times.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Assist with food preparation for special dietary needs and requests.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Aides and Nutrition team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Previous experience in a healthcare, institutional, or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food service sanitation and safety standards required.
• At least two (2) years of experience in quantity cooking and a basic knowledge of modified diets.
• Training in food service sanitation and possession of a food handler’s permit as required.
• Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Some prior kitchen supervisory experience is helpful.

This is a PRN role, and the expected compensation range for this position is $20.00 per hour.
