Experience & Qualifications
  • 1 year of cooking experience in a fast‑paced, full‑service restaurant.
  • Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, lifting items up to 50 pounds and performing frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
  • Ability to remain positive and productive in hot or cold work environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
  • Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are met.
  • Maintain a high level of communication, understand order verbiage, and keep lines of dialogue open and relevant to service.
  • Answer, report to, and follow instructions from the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
  • Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, complying with food handling and storage standards.
  • Ensure that kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food‑safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, vendors, and guests.
