Freight Forwarding Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-time;
Hybrid

• Develop relationships with customers and generate new business.
• Form a customer base by cold calling, issue quotes, prepare bids and make formal presentations to prospective customers.
• Solicit our client’s services which include Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, Air Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet the monthly goals given by Sales Upper Management.
• Maintain consistent communication with our client’s Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in selling freight.
• Multilingual is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals must be met.
• Good organizational skills as this position requires working with
  multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects.
• Proficient in CRM is a plus.
