Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Training Shift: 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM (for 2-3 weeks)

Employment Type: Temp to hire

• Dispatch drivers for U.S. domestic freight pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicate daily assignments to drivers via phone and email
• Track, update, and manage shipment information using Outlook and Excel
• Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure on-time service
• Deliver excellent customer service through timely and accurate updates
• Input data accurately and maintain shipment records

• 1-2 years of prior experience in local trucking dispatch or logistics operations
• Strong computer skills, especially Outlook, Excel, and fast, accurate typing
• Solid understanding of the Chicago metropolitan area and its geographic layout
• Clear, professional communication skills - written and verbal proficiency in English
• A team‑focused mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
