PRN CT Technologist

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Certified CT Technologist to join our team as a per‑day (PRN) position. The role requires operating assigned scanners, producing diagnostic images, and providing exceptional patient service.

Working varied shifts, including Saturday, is expected. The position is per diem.

• Screen patients before the exam for precautions or contraindications using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explain and prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, guiding them through positioning for the appropriate body parts.
• Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures with minimal supervision, providing patient support throughout the procedure.
• Adjust scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose‑reduction techniques.
• Follow physicians' orders precisely, comply with safety regulations, and accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain the ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
• Keep the work area orderly and clean, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
• Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
• Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
• Assist with training new associates, providing technical expertise as applicable.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.

Per diem position with varied shifts;
Saturday may be included.
