Manager Customer Logistics - Dedicated Transportation

We are immediately hiring a Customer Logistics Manager–Dedicated Transportation in Desoto, TX, for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Pay Type:

Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month. Annual Salary Pay: $72,000 per year based on experience.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday,

Hours:

8:00pm‑4:00am or 3:00pm‑11pm. Flexibility to work additional days and hours to meet business needs is preferred. Transportation leadership experience preferred. Driver management experience is preferred.

• The Manager Customer Logistics will oversee the day‑to‑day operations within an assigned function, and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management.
• Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area.
• Customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees.
• Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling.
• Health and Safety Management.
• State/Local/Federal regulations compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult.
• Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job‑related area.
• Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis.
• Makes decisions in a timely manner.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required.
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required.

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required.
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced required.
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required.
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required.
