Electronics Refurbish Technician

We are looking to add a computer repair technician / refurbishment technician to our team in Desoto, TX! This position is working for a rapidly growing company in the re‑certified computer sales industry. Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 starting out w/ weekly pay. Shift: Monday - Friday Day Shift.

• Inspect and test lease‑end returned computers to identify and troubleshoot the problems.
• Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions and perform the maintenance of computers.
• Use testing devices and follow the factory manuals to locate malfunctions in computers.
• Assess computer hardware malfunctions to determine the cause of error and apply appropriate actions to correct problems and repair computers in order to maintain operations.
• Perform all technical functions following the factory technical manuals, such as installing, maintaining and repairing/replacing electronic components of computers.
• Modify and upgrade computers and provide support for both software and hardware.
• Monitor performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments to assure quality performance.
• Complete work orders in our T&A system.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• A+ certificate is preferred.
• Must have previous hands‑on experience with Tier 1 computer hardware components and repair.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Must own steel‑toed safety shoes.
