Assembly Associate - Manufacturing Environment

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪Cut fabrics, core materials, and consumables as directed for the project.

▪Record batch numbers of materials on forms.

▪Clean inventory room and help organize.

▪Clean and prepare tooling as directed.

▪Assists ordering clerk with inventory system and ordering.

▪Lay-up, fit and install fiber reinforcements and core materials as directed.

▪Maintain housekeeping requirements within assigned area/s.

▪Read, comprehend Job related documentation and detailed work instructions.

▪Complete assigned tasks within production schedule timeline.

▪High attention to detail and precision.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

▪High School diploma or equivalent.

▪Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

▪Ability to pass standard criminal background check – no convictions for any crime of violence; cannot be on registered offender list.

▪Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

▪Experience working in a manufacturing facility.▪ Assembly experience preferred. ▪Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal work instructions. ▪Ability to understand and comply with company policies and Health & Safety requirements. ▪Ability to comply with PPE requirements.▪ Ability to read, comprehend and perform to Quality System Documentation. ▪General math skills. ▪Ability to read standard & metric tape measure . ▪Ability to use scissors for long periods of time.

▪Ability to maintain attendance in accordance with company attendance policies. ▪Ability to work a flexible schedule, weekends, or overtime as required in support of customer demand. ▪Ability to lift 50 lbs. continually. ▪Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel or stand for duration of shift. ▪Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. ▪Hands on/can do attitude.
