Volt is immediately hiring multiple Mechanics in DeSoto, Texas.
As a Mechanic, you will:
- Overhaul of turbine engines; breaking down and rebuilding engines
- Disassembly, assembly
- Using hand tools to install and take out components
- Repair and replace parts
This is a full-time long-term temp, possible temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule:
You will train on 1st shift (5am - 1:30pm) for a few weeks and then be moved to 2nd or 3rd shift (2nd shift hours are 1pm - 9:45pm and 3rd shift is 10pm - 6:30am).
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 - 2 years of mechanic related experience (any roles here you had to assembly, disassembly, repair, replace and/or install parts)
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 Per Hour DOE
* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
