This opportunity is based on a Professional Driver career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.

• Operate a Yard Goat/Yard Hostler with an automatic transmission
• Move containers and 53 trailers within the yard
• No touch freight
• No unloading
• Move trailers/containers between the dock door and yard locations
• Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Exit the yard mule and chock rear trailer wheels during loading operations
• Verify trailers are clear before moving equipment
• Move approximately 30-50 trailers/containers per shift
• Pulling containers from dock doors, relocating trailers within the yard, frequent backing, and following all customer safety procedures
• Must be comfortable using onboard computer systems and working independently in a busy yard environment

• 22+ years of age
• Valid license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year of yard hostling experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
