This is a request for an Inventory Control Coordinator for 2nd Shift.
Position:
Inventory Control Coordinator
Shift: Second Shift
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am
Pay: $21.90 plus $1 shift differential
Responsibilities- Assists Lead in coordinating daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate inventory records within the WMS/ERP system
- Research, analyze, and resolve inventory variances, root causes, and discrepancies
- Support and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices
- Train and support inventory control team members and warehouse associates
- Monitors inventory accuracy KPIs and reports findings to leadership
- Partner with Operations to prevent/resolve inventory issues
- Assist with physical inventory and year-end counts
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce shrink, damage, and mis‑picks
- Act as escalation point for inventory‑related issues during daily operations
- Follow safety and compliance standards:
Maintain clean, hazard‑free work areas and follow OSHA guidelines - Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports
- Act as an interface between customer support, suppliers and customer management on inventory issues for resolution
- Reconcile and data entry into customer’s system of record and the WM System
- Analyze data and transactions for root cause analysis using Excel spreadsheets
- Monitor and key data for several in‑transit buckets within SAP for finance department reporting
- Compile and maintain cycle count data for management reports to customer
- Monitor failed transactions and physically reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate between customer support, suppliers and customer on inventory issues for resolution
- Investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise departmental manager
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years Warehousing experience; preferably with barcode system
- Working experience with cycle count and inventory control
- Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory
