We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across multiple affiliated entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with intercompany transactions.

Essential Responsibilities- Prepare and post daily and monthly journal entries.
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Code invoices, set up new accounts, and balance accounts through trial balance.
- Compile and analyze financial data, including cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Review and approve online payment activity to support internal controls and fraud prevention efforts.
- Support payroll processing, including tipped employee calculations.
- Assist with new hire onboarding administration and employee record maintenance.
- Partner with management to address employee and administrative matters as needed.
- Provide backup support for accounting and administrative functions.
- Perform additional accounting and business-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of Quick Books or comparable accounting software.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong decision-making and project management capabilities.
- Experience working in a multi-entity business environment is highly desirable.
