Mononday: 7:45am-5:oopm. 1 Hour lunch.
Tuesday: 7:45am-5:oopm. 1 Hour lunch.
Wednesday: 7:45am-5:oopm. 1 Hour lunch.
Thursday 6:45am-3pm (no lunch)
Friday 8am-1pm (no lunch)
Responsibilities- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
- Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
- Develop a relationship with the patient.
- Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
- 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and general chairside experience
- ability to perform digital xrays
- High school diploma or GED.
- Other certifications as required by the state, as an example:
Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
