The Retail Crew Members are front-line employees who deliver a "wow" factor for our retail customers. An excellent Retail Crew Member will have excellent customer service skills, an eye for detail to keep the retail environment clean and shoppable, and will be an ambassador for the brand. In this role, you will work at the beach and enjoy the unique coastal environment, waterways, and culture of Florida, specifically at our Destin, FL Kitty Hawk Store and our Life is Good store in Destin, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service at all times
- Work well with all ages of the general public
- Accurately and efficiently ring up customer sales
- Maintain an orderly appearance of the register area
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and advertisements
- Adhere to all company policies and guidelines
- Maintain the sales floor
- Fold shirts, dust, vacuum, clean restrooms
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience in the retail field preferred
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn register operation
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and guests
- Ability to learn tasks quickly and accurately
- Ability to multi-task
- Work environment is generally indoors with moderate noise level
- Might be requested to work overtime and weekends during the company's in‑season time period
About one-third of the time will be spent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. One‑third to two‑thirds of the time will be spent standing, walking, sitting, and reaching. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands come from continuous computer work, cash register work, sales floor work, events, and mail‑order work.
