As a Floor Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. This includes driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. Together with your fellow leaders, you will work to ensure that every aspect of the store is firing on all cylinders, creating an exceptional customer experience, a happy and motivated staff, and operational excellence.

Your day‑to‑day will be spent on the shop floor, where you will lead and inspire a team of sales associates to achieve and surpass their goals. By fostering a culture of passion and positivity, you will help create a productive and fun work environment that delights customers and employees alike.

Responsibilities
  • Driving Sales
    :
    Utilize the Store Force dashboard to coach and provide feedback to the sales team, adjust the shop floor structure, and grow your segments’ contribution to overall sales.
  • Customer Experience
    :
    Lead by example in delivering a world‑class customer experience, including product demonstrations and consultations.
  • Building the Brand
    :
    Educate customers on Lush brand values such as Animal Testing prevention, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
  • Product Passion
    :
    Increase product knowledge through constant learning and make informed recommendations for every need.
  • Development
    :
    Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance and increase sales.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
    :
    Encourage open communication, actively listen to team members’ perspectives on DEIB, and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Cash Handling & Store Opening/Closing
    :
    Manage cash transactions, open/close register, reconcile drawers, prepare nightly deposits, and secure the store.
  • Time and Attendance
    :
    Model punctuality, monitor employee breaks, review communications, and ensure shift readiness.
  • Visuals and Merchandising
    :
    Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance shopping experience.
  • Stock and Inventory
    :
    Train the team on inventory best practices and support management with inventory tasks.
  • Policies and Procedures
    :
    Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
  • Experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
  • Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training.
  • Problem‑solving in day‑to‑day customer service operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

  • Consultation‑based customer service experience.
  • Experience analyzing sales metrics.
  • Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
  • Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
Pay

Pay: $16.50 USD per hour.
