The Role

Lead mechanical and electrical operations across two waterpark locations. Oversee all ride systems, water treatment, electrical controls, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and guest safety. Manage a team of maintenance technicians and serve as the mechanical expert partner to park leadership.

What You'll Do

* Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and water treatment systems; diagnose issues and coordinate repairs across both parks

* Oversee electrical troubleshooting on pump motors, VFDs, controls, and safety systems; ensure electrical safety in wet/corrosive environments

* Develop and execute preventative maintenance for water filtration, treatment, and water quality systems

* Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians; drive safety culture and continuous improvement

* Manage parts inventory, coordinate specialized vendors, and address maintenance needs promptly

* Plan seasonal maintenance and capital equipment upgrades; prepare budgets and report on operations to leadership

What You'll Bring

* 5+ years mechanical and electrical maintenance in amusement parks, water parks, or mission-critical operational environments

* Advanced expertise with high-capacity pumps, motors, VFDs, and electrical controls

* Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical safety in wet/corrosive environments

* Experience with water treatment, filtration systems, and water chemistry testing

* Proven team leadership and supervisory experience; advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

* Knowledge of ASTM F24 standards and ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics

* OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training; familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures

* Valid driver's license with willingness to travel between locations; ability to lift 50 lbs; comfortable at heights and in confined spaces

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

* Electrical certification or formal electrical systems training

* Pool Operator Certification or water treatment systems background

* PLC programming or industrial control systems experience

* ASTM F24 ride inspection certification; vendor relationship management experience

Who We Are

The pay range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000.
