The Role
Lead mechanical and electrical operations across two waterpark locations. Oversee all ride systems, water treatment, electrical controls, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and guest safety. Manage a team of maintenance technicians and serve as the mechanical expert partner to park leadership.
What You'll Do- Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and water treatment systems; diagnose issues and coordinate repairs across both parks
- Oversee electrical troubleshooting on pump motors, VFDs, controls, and safety systems; ensure electrical safety in wet/corrosive environments
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance for water filtration, treatment, and water quality systems
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians; drive safety culture and continuous improvement
- Manage parts inventory, coordinate specialized vendors, and address maintenance needs promptly
- Plan seasonal maintenance and capital equipment upgrades; prepare budgets and report on operations to leadership
- 5+ years mechanical and electrical maintenance in amusement parks, water parks, or mission-critical operational environments
- Advanced expertise with high-capacity pumps, motors, VFDs, and electrical controls
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical safety in wet/corrosive environments
- Experience with water treatment, filtration systems, and water chemistry testing
- Proven team leadership and supervisory experience; advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of ASTM F24 standards and ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training; familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
- Valid driver's license with willingness to travel between locations; ability to lift 50 lbs; comfortable at heights and in confined spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical certification or formal electrical systems training
- Pool Operator Certification or water treatment systems background
- PLC programming or industrial control systems experience
- ASTM F24 ride inspection certification; vendor relationship management experience

The pay range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000.
