Our client is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance I to install, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, test, and maintain electronic systems supporting mission-critical healthcare and government operations at Eglin Air Force Base
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electronics professional with military, government, industrial, or healthcare facilities experience to work with sophisticated electronic and control systems in a highly regulated environment.
What You'll Do- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
. - Install, modify, upgrade, calibrate, and test electronic systems and components.
- Work with test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and network analyzers
. - Support and maintain nurse call systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Identify equipment failures and determine root causes to restore operational capability.
- Maintain accurate work orders, inspection reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation
. - Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Support equipment modernization and technology refresh initiatives.
- Coordinate with engineers, system operators, military personnel, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, and contractual requirements
. - Support emergency response and on-call maintenance activities as required.
- Maintain accountability for tools, test equipment, repair parts, and government property.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare facilities.
- 3-5 years of experience maintaining electronic systems in a military, government, industrial, or technical environment.
- Qualified as defined by EM 385-1-1.
- OEM trained and qualified on nurse call systems and BAS.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field
, OR an equivalent combination of military training, vocational education, and relevant experience. - Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic equipment
. - Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
.
