Controller, Finance & Banking

RMB Environmental Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our team in Detroit Lakes, MN. This role is central to managing the financial health of our growing company and supporting our mission of delivering trusted environmental testing services across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and metrics to support leadership decision-making.
• Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, growth planning, and risk management.
• Supervise and support the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Quick Books experience required, and Peachtree preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 2+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $100,000-$125,000 annually, based on experience.
