Our client, a leading manufacturer of liquid level control products and pump control solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Supply Chain and Forecasting Manager to join their team in Detroit Lakes, MN. This organization is part of a family of brands with a shared vision to deliver industry‑leading, innovative, and reliable control and monitoring solutions that improve efficiencies, protect the environment, and provide dependable products to customers across the water, wastewater, and sewage industries.
Their product portfolio — including pump control panels, alarm systems, float switches, and level monitoring solutions — serves residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and agricultural sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to make a meaningful impact within a well‑established manufacturing environment.
- Develop accurate short‑, mid‑, and long‑term forecasts using historical trends, market insights, and cross‑functional business inputs.
- Translate demand signals into actionable production and capacity plans, ensuring the right products are available at the right time while minimizing excess inventory and shortages.
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, partnering with key stakeholders to align forecasts with company objectives and customer needs.
- Focus heavily on continuous improvement—using data to evaluate forecast accuracy, identify risks and opportunities, and implement strategies that strengthen supply chain performance.
- Ensure alignment with company goals, maintain readiness through proactive planning, and champion Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 4‑year degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or an equivalent field
- 3–5 years of leadership experience
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
- Proficiency leveraging ERP/MRP systems and forecasting tools to drive decision‑making
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Proven ability to build and lead strong teams
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Background supporting a multi‑brand or multi‑site manufacturing operation
- Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, operations, and finance stakeholders
