Position Summary

The Supervisor – Production supports the Business Area Manager by overseeing daily operations within an assigned production area of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures a safe and productive work environment, efficient workflow, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the timely completion of production objectives in support of company goals and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Business Area Manager with scheduling, supervising, and directing production team members
  • Ensure production operations are executed according to specification sheets and blueprints to prevent errors and rework
  • Adjust priorities, schedules, and work assignments to address absenteeism or unplanned operational changes
  • Maintain established safety protocols, quality standards, and production requirements
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are available in the correct quantities and timelines
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize production delays or quality concerns
  • Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and arrange for timely repairs as needed
  • Maintain accurate records related to production output, employee performance, and attendance
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations and take corrective action to address potential hazards
  • Promote safe and effective use of tools and equipment
  • Foster a cooperative and respectful work environment that supports teamwork and morale
  • Maintain housekeeping standards that support efficiency, safety, and employee engagement
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related production or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Preferred:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing setting
