What

You Will Do As A Welder:
  • Read, interpret, and visualize blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Manufacture high-quality parts according to patterns, documentation, and production expectations
  • Inspect parts using basic measuring and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, height gauges) to verify quality and adherence to specifications
  • Produce consistent, high-quality welds using pre-set welding parameters
  • Adapt to changing production demands and priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy
  • Identify equipment or welding-related issues and report concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following standard housekeeping procedures
  • Use computer software to clock in/out, track job assignments, and verify production counts
What You Need To Be A Welder:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must achieve a minimum score of 80% on required welding excellence assessments, including: welding tools/consumables, weld defects, and welding department
  • Basic welding knowledge and experience working with welding equipment and tools
  • Ability to understand, follow, and communicate routine verbal and written instructions
  • Strong ability to work cooperatively and maintain productive working relationships with team members
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Basic proficiency using a computer for time tracking and job reporting
