Production Operator (1st Shift) – Pay

Pay: $26.45 per hour; will increase to $27.45 once trained.

1st shift, 6:30am – 3:00pm.

In this role you will be a key member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, performing front‑line production processes that add value and quality to raw inputs and the creation of final high‑quality products. You will gain skills and experience taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers, operating machinery and equipment, and packaging the final product. The Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

This role manufactures products according to production specifications, quality standards, and production schedules while monitoring equipment performance and addressing processing issues.

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others.
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly.
• Multi‑tasks and keeps up with production demands in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Collaborates and follows instructions of leads and management to accomplish daily work assignments.
• Moves and packages raw materials and finished goods, inspects product quality, identifies and corrects defects, maintains accurate production records, and operates all assigned equipment and processes to support manufacturing goals.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• One year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Can read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem‑solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and a respectful attitude.

• One or more years of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

• Able to lift 50lb.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include environments where dust is present.
• Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
