LPN - Detroit Lakes Family Medicine Clinic

Position Overview

Sanford Health's Detroit Lakes Family Medicine Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to partner with providers and support family medicine and walk‑in services. The position offers day shifts (8‑hour days), 36 scheduled hours per week, and a 5th Saturday morning rotation. No evenings or holidays.

Compensation: $21.00 – $29.50 per hour.
Union Position: No.

• Assist in the implementation and evaluation of patient care under the supervision of an RN, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Partner with a provider to deliver high‑quality care in family medicine and walk‑in settings.
• Educate and communicate with patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with department competencies and certifications.

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license with the state nursing board; possess multi‑state licensure privileges if required.
• If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, hold a graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy in the curriculum or completion of a North Dakota Board‑approved IV Therapy course.
• Capability to obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
