Job Summary

St Marys Hospital – Detroit Lakes, Department: 3063240 MED SURG – DL HOSP. This position involves organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions while supporting the facility’s mission and compliance with regulatory agencies.

• Assess and plan patient care.
• Implement interventions and evaluate outcomes.
• Delegate care appropriately according to staff licensure and roles.
• Support the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
• Meet Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.

• Compensation Range: $37.10 – $55.65 per hour.
