Rough Finish Crew Member
Working with a team or individually, the Rough Finish Crew member installs and inspects various components relating to sheetrock, fireplaces, kitchen soffits, stairways and door preparation.
- Installs components within a controlled environment
- Identifies materials needed using the purchase order
- Ensures compliance with appropriate codes
- Maintains inventory, tools and supplies
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate PPE
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The performance of this position requires occasional exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of safety glasses is required, and the use of hearing protection may be required.
The position lifts heavy objects up to 80 pounds, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs physical labor in a climate-controlled environment. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel is primarily not expected in this role.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, floor plans and work orders for projects
Understands standard workflow and the time frame needed to complete each stage
Proficient knowledge to identify core tools and appropriate manner of use: tape measurer, hammer, drill, level, saw, nail gun, staple gun, level, screw gun and framing square
Strict attention to detail an order accuracy
Ability to perform physical work overhead for extended periods of time
Ability to use mathematics and measuring devices to calculate length, width, height, depth, etc.
Ability to follow written and spoken instruction
Ability to lift to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently
High school diploma or Equivalent required.
Maintains a valid Driver's License
